Smogon VGC Major Live 2026 - 1500$ Prize - Reg M-B (2위)by ionnss

【CONCEPT】

Talonflame's Tailwind kicks off the speed race, then Mega Floette's Light of Ruin and Gholdengo's Make It Rain land huge special damage

【SYNERGY】

- Talonflame: priority Tailwind (via Gale Wings) accelerates the whole team

- Mega Floette: Light of Ruin costs half its own HP but deals massively powerful special damage

- Gholdengo: Make It Rain ignores the target's Special Defense drop for reliable special firepower

【WATCH OUT】

Losing Talonflame removes the speed boost, and Light of Ruin costs Floette a big chunk of its own HP, leaving it more vulnerable to incoming damage
