The concept is to make Mega Charizard X the axis of the team and win the damage race in face-to-face combat regardless of the opponent's composition. Choosing the X form rather than the stall-oriented Y form secured firepower, Speed to move before the opponent, and physical bulk all at once, creating a combination that withstands the opponent's threatening moves while stacking firepower with Swords Dance, allowing it to handle both face-to-face and cycle play. Adopting Gyarados as the sub-Mega is the core strength, using mind games to make the opponent misjudge Charizard as a special attacker and send out a special wall instead of a physical wall.
The lead is mainly Garchomp, with Primarina used situationally as a secondary lead to respond stably to Stealth Rock-setting opponents; when Primarina is sent out first, Archaludon is always kept waiting behind it to match the type matchup. The basic flow is to use Gyarados to induce the opponent's misjudgment and create an empty turn, then apply pressure with firepower moves + Swords Dance, aiming for the final sweep with the physically bulky Mega Charizard X. Mimikyu, tuned to withstand the opponent's physical moves even accounting for the damage from its Disguise breaking, adds strength as a backup face-to-face attacker.
