Archaludon leads as a physical wall, setting Stealth Rock and spreading paralysis with Thunder Wave while running minimal Speed EVs for the mirror match, and Hippowdon offers a near-infinite defensive pivot.

Floette (Eternal Flower) and Mega Starmie serve as the two big special/mixed breakers, Aegislash was added late as a hard answer to Metagross, and Meowscarada fills the flexible last slot.

The team reportedly struggles against Baton Pass chains and certain Charizard-Y builds.
